meet Rosie.

Hola Amigos!

My name is Rosie Nelson and I have just finished my freshmen year at Hiram College in Ohio. I am from a small town in Vermont. I’m an avid skier, love my horse, and running. While I will not be going to the Dominican Republic with the Hiram group, I helped and created a lesson plan with Junior Kelcie Cuckler.  I love children and teaching is also great. Most of my time with teaching has been spent in Africa, specifically Ghana in West Africa. While there, I was called the schools fifth grade teacher. It was challenging, rewarding, and most of all intriguing. Where there is art and crafts, glitter, and kids involved, I find joy and many rewards. I can’t wait to hear about the trip. While you all are in Dominican Republic, I will be in Costa Rica. Many good wishes! Pura Vida.

Peace and Love,

Rosie
